Brand transition completes successful liquid and industrial waste management acquisitions for REMONDIS in Victoria

Waste2Water, Aquasoil, Organic Environmental Solutions and Eastern Liquid Waste Services have adopted the REMONDIS brand
The specialised businesses, based at Dandenong South and Somerton in VIC, were acquired in 2019 and 2020
REMONDIS now has liquid waste processing facilities supported by specialised logistics fleets in every Australian mainland state

A suite of specialised industrial and liquid waste operations in Melbourne will adopt the REMONDIS brand as of this week, the final step of an acquisition process that commenced in 2019.
The branding shift sees Waste2Water Technologies, Aquasoil Recycling, Organic Environmental Solutions (OES) and Eastern Liquid Waste Services (ELS) relinquish their foundation names and operate under the REMONDIS banner.
REMONDIS‘ liquid and hazardous waste operations in Victoria operate from three locations:
- REMONDIS Dandenong South Liquid / Waste Processing Plant (formerly ELS, OES)
- REMONDIS Somerton Liquid Processing Plant (formerly Waste2Water)
- REMONDIS Somerton Non-Destructive Digging Treatment Plant (formerly Aquasoil)
REMONDIS‘ Industrial Services division specialises in liquid waste management, including hazardous waste and Dangerous Goods management, contaminated soil, grease trap services, automotive liquid waste, spill kits, industrial cleaning and non-destructive digging including the treatment and disposal of drilling and non-destructive digging mud.
The many customers that rely on the services have been notified of the change.
“Although the change is an administrative formality, it signals the conclusion of a smooth and successful acquisition process,” Martin Kocybik, REMONDIS General Manager, Mergers and Acquisitions, said.
“The only thing customers will notice is new REMONDIS signage on buildings, bins, vehicles and REMONDIS correspondence.
“Otherwise it’s business as usual, with REMONDIS positioning to take customer service to whole new levels.
“We were particular about retaining in-house expertise when acquiring these businesses to ensure seamless progression and enable us to expand customer offerings over the long term.
“The founders, managers and employees of each business are behind this success story.”
The Melbourne acquisitions complement similar liquid and industrial ramp-up activity around Australia including re-development of the company’s liquid processing facility at REMONDIS Henderson Liquid Processing Plant in Perth, and ambitious plans for the company’s fully-owned Environmental Treatment Solutions (ETS) business, based in New South Wales.
