Our Resource Recovery Facility at Tomago provides waste management and resource recovery services to the Newcastle, Port Stephens, Hunter and Central Coast regions of NSW. We receive, sort and separate recyclables from the general waste stream, provide septic / effluent pump out services, and are licensed to receive and process a range of complex and hazardous wastes, with rigorously monitored and measured commercial, environment and social benefits.

Our four-hectare Resource Recovery Facility at Tomago hosts a fleet of MDG-compliant, specialised waste logistics vehicles, effluent pump out services, a purpose-built processing facility with extensive resource recovery capabilities, including cardboard and plastic baling, and a product destruction plant. We service Newcastle, Port Stephens, Hunter Valley, and the Hunter and Central Coast regions of NSW.

Septic tank / effluent pump out services
REMONDIS have been supplying effluent / septic tank pump out services to the residents of Lake Macquarie on behalf of Lake Macquarie Council (LMC) in the beautiful Hunter region for more than 15 years. Over this period, REMONDIS has built a unique knowledge of the operational requirements of this work including service schedules, pump out volumes and access requirements for each individual resident's effluent tank pumpout needs. We look forward to serving the local community for years to come.

Fleet services
REMONDIS Tomago Resource Recovery Facility provides a range of industrial cleaning services, including services to grease traps and septic tanks. We also provide fully certified services to more complex drainage and sewer systems, and pipelines within heavy industries such as manufacturing plants, oil refineries and construction utilities – in full compliance with regulatory requirements. Our state-of-the-art Cappellotto SuperVac fleet includes a range of vehicles to suit any sized tank and hard-to-access spaces, and handles wet and dry materials.
