During 40 years in Australia REMONDIS has diversified to be a leading waste and recycling company but its goal has remained the same – for waste to be a resource.
REMONDIS is dedicated to assisting councils to achieve their waste management and environmental sustainability targets. We work in partnership with councils and regional authorities to determine the optimal collection, treatment and disposal solution for each community’s unique circumstances.
Since our first municipal bin provision and collection in Sydney’s western suburbs in 1982, we have gained a reputation for service excellence and innovation – including our introduction of the wheelie bin to Australia. Today we proudly work in partnership with councils across Australia to achieve their waste management and environmental sustainability targets.
We complement our services with FutuRE Total Support System – a highly customisable suite of digital tools based on best-of-class GPS and logistics technology, enabled by the latest in-cab technology, vehicle cameras, scales and, importantly, real-time information, plus automated record keeping (including video) which supports us in delivering timely remediation of complaints and enquiries.
REMONDIS also offers advisory and planning services to local authorities and regional groups of councils, helping them determine the optimal collection, treatment and disposal solution for each community’s unique circumstance.
We also often partner with councils to manage their resource recovery and processing facilities or landfills. In addition to our municipal operations, we service 24,000 commercial and industrial customers – from small businesses to many of Australia’s leading national listed companies.
